Racin’ Bacon 5K Working together with the PA Bacon Fest – in Easton, PA — this is quickly becoming a local favorite. Registration includes a long-sleeved t-shirt, bacon, beer and an awesome race. Our three lead pigs will get a 30 to 60 second head start…then the race begins! Pass all three pigs and receive a special prize at the end

The Racin’ Bacon 5K is a unique event held at Easton’s PA Bacon Fest. The run begins and ends near the amphitheater at Riverside Park in Easton. All runners receive entry to Baconfest, a long-sleeved shirt (Guaranteed if registered by October 23rd), BEER and BACON! The race begins at 9 AM when our three pigs will take off for a 30-60 second headstart. From there, the fun starts as runners will chase after in an effort to pass the pigs for a chance at some extra bacon!
In addition to prizes for “passing the pigs” age group awards will be given out to the overall winners and top 3. Age Groups (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+)
There is no special parking set aside for the race – so please plan accordingly. Bacon Fest attracts large crowds each day, since the race begins at 9 AM, you will get an early jump on the best spots!

The course will begin and end near the amphitheater off of Larry Holmes Drive. Runners will run along the water on a mix of path and sidewalk. Running to the 611 bridge, runners will cross the bridge on the sidewalk and make a left turn. Runners will go through the parking lot where runners will join up with the D&L Trail. Runners will take the D&L for about 1/2 mile before the turnaround. Runners will thenreturn to the amphitheater for an out and back style course…

Run Lehigh Valley reserves the right to cancel and/or alter the race in the event that natural disaster or other unforeseen circumstance prevents us from holding the race safely as planned. We will make every attempt to hold the event. Any cancellations or changes, will be noted on the home page, race-specific page and on facebook. In the event that a cancellation or change of date or venue is required, we are unable to provide refunds.
